JAN 2019-NEW ZEALAND WINKIES TOUR

Recently I had the pleasure of touring NZ with Brother Rus, Cousin Brad, Niece Chelsey and kinda Niece Anna.

The main purpose was a 16th birthday trip for Chelsey to catch some of NZ's famous yellow tail king fish. Then we thought wouldn't it be cool if Chelsey's distant cousin (kind of), Anna could join us. Along with the fishing the plan was to have a bit of a poke around the North Island. 

Taking two 16 year olds on an adventure to NZ was great fun.  We fished Bay of Islands and the girls hooked up two monster king fish in the one morning.  They were stoked.  We old fishos had to watch in awe as they kept reeling them in.  You cannot be in NZ without lots of touristy sight seeing - Hobbitown, black sand beach and the beautiful Tauranga Coast.
