March 2014 - Shady Camp

This was more a photo hunting trip. I was keen to show Paul an interesting place I had fished before. It's known as the dead tree forest. It is the result of sea level rise resulting in salt water incursion into what was once a fresh water melaleuca swamp. 

Quite a dramatic landscape .
