March 2014 - Victoria river

Steep learning curve is an understatement. This was a challenging trip. It's a fast moving tidal river with many areas that dry at low tide. Local knowledge would be gold in this system. Alas it was a first for both of us. We found fish but worked hard and felt like we were behind the eight ball most of the day.

It is an amazingly scenic part of Australia. Loved it.
