The Spread Sheet
Now Ash Winks has a Spread Sheet, getting to fish with Ash in the Territory is complicated, boat petrol, food, beer, water, diesel are all time critical things to buy, pack and take.
The spread sheet is a source of past adventures it also looks forward many years, contains many wishful adventures for the few lucky fishos that get to fish with Ash.
It is colour coded with dates, names, tide times, decrypted GPS locations and other mysterious annotations. It is the single source of reference for Ash to plan fishing adventures as well the coordinating tool for single handily renovating numerous houses and plan exotic overseas trips.
To go on a trip with Ash means you gotta get on the spread sheet first. Time and tides are to be evaluated, locations sourced, accommodation sorted, permits obtained, flights booked, transport arranged, pickups and drops scheduled, equipment supplied and fishing tackle serviced.
These logistics are somehow magically co-ordinated on the spread sheet.
Deviations to planned trips are rare, fishing with Ash is time critical with the best fishing locales correlated with sun and moon phases, tide and travel times, to ensure that we get to fish to best spots at the best times.
Maybe 2022 is when the spread sheet will see another fishing adventure?
